About the role
We are looking for a Waiter or Waitress to join the front of house team at The Bull in Otford on weekdays. You will be looking after guests through lunch and afternoon service, taking orders, running food and making sure every table has everything they need.
The hours are 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, totalling 35 hours a week. That makes this a good fit if you want consistent daytime shifts with your evenings and weekends free. Previous experience is welcome but not essential, as full training is provided.
Key responsibilities
- •Welcome guests, show them to their table and make them feel at home
- •Take food and drink orders accurately and pass them clearly to the kitchen and bar
- •Serve food and drinks promptly and check back with guests during their visit
- •Answer questions on the menu, including allergen and dietary information
- •Handle cash and card payments accurately using the till system
- •Clear and reset tables quickly and to a high standard
- •Keep the restaurant area clean, tidy and well presented throughout service
- •Support colleagues during busy periods and with opening and closing duties
- •Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times
