About the role
We are looking for a full time Bartender to join the team at The Bull in Otford. You will be one of the first faces our guests see, pouring great drinks and making sure everyone feels properly looked after from the moment they walk in.
This is a full time role of 40 hours a week across a mix of shifts, including evenings and weekends. Previous bar experience is helpful but not essential. What matters most is a friendly manner, reliability and a genuine interest in looking after people. Full training is provided.
Key responsibilities
- •Serve drinks efficiently and accurately, following pub standards and licensing regulations
- •Take food and drink orders at the bar and at tables in a friendly, professional manner
- •Provide excellent customer service so guests feel welcome and well looked after
- •Handle cash and card payments accurately using the till system
- •Keep the bar area clean, tidy and well stocked throughout your shift
- •Change barrels, keep lines clean and help maintain cellar standards
- •Clear tables, wash glasses and assist with general housekeeping in the bar area
- •Support colleagues with opening and closing duties as required
- •Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times
